Non Seccedera Piu
"Having predominantly worked as a commission-based artist, this is the first piece I have done for myself in four years. It is also the first piece of my 'Through the Window' series! I wanted to paint a series from the outside looking in as I've always thought you can tell so much about someone's life by just catching a glimpse through their window. This particular scene is a combination of the architecture of Marrakesh and the washing lines in Naples.
As always, I have named my painting after a song. I had a fixation on this particular song (by Claudia Mori) a few years ago, I had no idea what it meant but was happy it was in Italian as I'd always romanticized Italy. Since, I have google translated the title and it came out as 'It will never dry again' which I thought was fitting for a painting of a washing line. Unfortunately, google translate was wrong and it actually means 'It won't happen again' but I'm keeping the title regardless."

The gallery is small, but it punches well above its weight. Friendly, expert and hugely knowledgeable about the artists it represents and displays, there is always something of interest, at different price levels.
