Suzanne Smith

Suzanne Smith was born in Brixham , South Devon. Throughout her career , as a Specialist Oncology Nurse , she sought relaxation in painting and drawing which had given her huge satisfaction and distraction away from the routines of everyday life , allowing her to focus on more enjoyable moments. Painting has become an increasingly important part of her life.

Whilst bringing up a family , Suzanne sought more stimulus and attained a university degree in History of Art , Kingston University. She continued to pursue her fine art studies under the tutelage of Aris Raissis , Portrait and Figurative Artist.

Suzanne’s method of work comes in two styles. Her lively , expressive , spontaneous and figurative works are created in acrylics , whilst her tonal paintings , that record images of everyday life are in oils.
