"In recent months, I’ve produced several paintings of the magnificent yew that stands in the ruins of Waverley Abbey, near Farnham in Surrey. I approached this body of work as a series of portraits, aiming to capture a different aspect of this monumental and ancient tree in each painting."

Mixed media and collage on canvas framed with a white tray frame. 

Size (including frame): 36cm x 42cm.

Location: In the gallery in Wimbledon, London.

Rob Murray
