Description

"These were produced in the studio shortly after a trip to the Trossachs last summer. When I’m in the landscape, it’s about really absorbing what’s in front of me, as well as capturing the scene through photographs and rapid sketching. When I’m back in my Wimbledon studio, I refer to these drawings and photos alongside my memories of the place; allowing some time to have passed often becomes part of the process. It’s often about trying to take myself back there in my mind, and trying to evoke how it felt to be there."

Mixed media and collage on canvas framed with a white tray frame.

Size (including frame): 27cm x 27cm.

Location: At the gallery in Wimbledon, London
