"I am an artist inspired by the movement of water and the way the water surface abstracts the aquatic forms below. My paintings explore this combination, using palettes of contrasting colours and negative space. As in nature, the ever-changing light on the paint reveals the subtle texture of the water caused by its own flow and that by the form beneath. All of my work is created by blowing acrylic paint using only my breath. I do not use any equipment at all (including straws) and do not physically touch at all the canvas or glass on which I paint."
"It's magical how a simple smile from a loved one, friend or even a complete stranger can lift your day and make you feel valued or at least noticed. The beaming smile of a client when they see their painting for the first time is by far the best part of what I do as an artist. I wanted to capture the feeling of receiving a smile in a painting, knowing that it will then also put a smile on a collector's face - and then again hopefully every time they see it in their home."
