Description

Polly’s paintings depict the changing seasons of the Bush Plum plant .  The Bush Plum is a very good source of vitamins and of great spiritual significance to the Anmatyerr and Alyawarr women of the Eastern Desert region.   

 

Polly uses a paint brush heavily loaded with several colours to work many layers of colours onto the linen creating effects of flowering plants, scattered seeds and the country the Bush Plum grows in.   

Acrylic on Belgian Linen, unframed.
