B-side (part 2 of 2)

‘This piece is titled after the song (by Khruangbin & Leon Bridges) that accompanied me throughout its making. This work was created by applying different levels of silicone to acrylic paint. The silicone encourages the different layers of paint to reject each other causing the unusual pattern. This pattern is then accentuated by applying heat using a blowtorch.’ This listing is only for ‘B-side’ but the other piece to the diptych, ‘Mariella’, is also listed on our website. 

Acrylic on canvas framed with a white tray frame.
